Sprungschanze Gibswil is a premier ski jumping facility located in the Zürcher Oberland region of Switzerland. The complex features three ski jumping hills: the Panoramaschanzen HS15m and HS25m, and the Bachtelblick-Schanze HS67m, which was constructed in 2006. These hills are designed to accommodate athletes of various skill levels, from beginners to elite competitors. The facility operates year-round, utilizing plastic mats during the summer months and snow during the winter, allowing for continuous training and events. In addition to hosting national competitions, Sprungschanze Gibswil serves as a training ground for aspiring ski jumpers, offering programs and events that promote the sport's growth and development.

Using dynamic drone footage, the video immerses viewers in the excitement of ski jumping, giving them a firsthand look at the thrilling experience as if they were about to take the leap themselves.
The aerial shots capture the scale and height of the jump, showcasing the stunning landscape and the precision required for the sport.

There were no specific guidelines for storyboarding or video creation, allowing ALATE full creative freedom to craft the video independently.
Challenge: Facing the sun when filming on the side of the ski jump, which created difficult lighting conditions.
Solution: Adjusted the camera’s light settings in real time to manage exposure and applied additional color correction in post-production to ensure the footage remained clear and visually balanced despite the challenging lighting.
Opening shots feature the ski jump hill from different angles and wide views, giving viewers a sense of the scale and setting.
The drone then flies up to the top of the jump, building anticipation and providing a detailed view of the structure.
The video transitions into a POV ski jump, allowing the viewer to experience the thrill of the jump firsthand, simulating the sensation of taking the leap.
