In collaboration with top athletes like NHL stars Timo Meier and Moritz Seider, Aycane continually refines their gear to meet the needs of professional players. Since 2024, Aycane has also expanded into organizing ice hockey camps aimed at developing players’ skills, offering a comprehensive approach to supporting the next generation of talent. In addition, Aycane proudly supplies gear to top club EV Zug, showcasing their commitment to excellence at every level of the sport.

"ELEVATING THE GAME: ICE HOCKEY CAMP FROM ABOVE" focuses on capturing the first Aycane Ice Hockey Camp. This after-camp video showcases the on-ice training, highlighting the skill development of young athletes. While the camp offered a range of off-ice activities, this project focuses on the action and progress made during the on-ice sessions.
The aerial perspective provides a new view of the game, showcasing not only the dedication of the players but also the valuable work of the top coaches who led the training. This unique angle allows viewers to appreciate the teamwork and effort involved in elevating their game.

There were no specific guidelines for storyboarding or video creation, allowing ALATE full creative freedom to craft the video independently.
Challenge: A large number of players on the ice meant there was a lot happening at once, making it challenging to capture good shots without planned actions.

Solution: We adapted to the flow of training, capturing spontaneous moments that best highlighted the players' energy and skills in action.

Challenge: With a large selection of excellent shots, it was challenging to select the most impactful moments while keeping the video length appropriate.

Solution: We focused on selecting shots that captured the most dynamic and meaningful moments, ensuring the video remained engaging and concise.

Challenge: Different lighting conditions throughout the day created inconsistencies in video quality.

Solution: Adjustments were made to camera settings during filming to account for changing light conditions, and in post-production, color correction was applied to ensure consistency in brightness and tone throughout the video.

Challenge: Ensuring that the coaches weren’t disturbed when talking to players.

Solution: With our background in ice hockey coaching, we understood when to stay back and when it was best to film, allowing us to capture valuable moments while respecting the coaching process.
